Wayne Dyer on Worry

The late, great Dr. Wayne Dyer used to say something interesting about worry.

There’s no use worrying about things you can control because if you can control them there’s no use worrying about them.

There’s no use worrying about things you can’t control because if you can’t control them there’s no use worrying about them.

Therefore, there’s absolutely nothing in the world to worry about.

Worry steals our joy and it steals our dreams, if we let it. This common sense approach to it, while not always possible to implement 100 percent, can help take the worry off our plates.

Just in case no one else has reminded you today, you are awesome!
