Daily Reflection and Prep - Day 149 of 365 Days to a Better You
Hey, my friends!I hope you've had a fantastic Wednesday! I'm posting a little late today, but this does make 149 days in a row! This evening I want to talk to you about reflecting on your day and prepping for tomorrow. There are a lot of involved systems out there for doing this, but here's a simple one. I call it the 222 Approach. Here's what to do.Reflection
- Choose two things that you accomplished, handled well, completed successfully, or would like to repeat from today.
- Manually write them down.
- Take a moment to reflect on what you did right and how you can repeat it.
- Don't limit yourself to two just because I told you two. If you had a GREAT day, capture all your wins for today this way.
- Choose two things you did today or that happened today that, given the chance, you'd do differently next time.
- Manually write them down.
- What did you learn from these experiences? Specifically, what will you do differently next time?
Preparation
- Choose two things that you want to focus on or achieve tomorrow.
- These can be things you want to continue doing.
- Things you want to knock off your to-do list.
- A goal that you're ready to push over the finish line.
- Write them down manually and tomorrow morning put this note in your pocket or your purse. Review it. Revise if you need to. Look at it often tomorrow. Commit to doing them before your head hits the pillow tomorrow night.
The 222 Approach is a great way to take stock of what you're doing well, where you want to improve, and what you want to achieve tomorrow. Make it a habit and you'll see your accountability and goal attainment rise. You'll also feel good because you're taking the time to acknowledge your accomplishments each day.Stay inspired to be the person you came to the planet to be! Thank you each and every one of you for reading.RayWebsite | YouTube | Facebook | Twitter | Support Us
