Parable of Two Wolves - Day 24 of 365 Days to a Better You

Which Wolf?

Theres a powerful Native American story about two wolves. You may have heard it before, but it bears repeating.A grandfather and his grandson are sitting around a fire. The grandfather says to the boy,” There’s a great battle going on within me right now. It’s between two wolves. One is evil, he is anger, sorrow, envy, regret, greed, arrogance, guilt, resentment, self-pity, inferiority, lies, false pride, and ego.”The grandson sat wrapped up in his grandfather’s story. The old man continued. “The other is good. He is love, peace, joy, hope, serenity, kindness, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.””The same fight, my son rages on inside of you.”The boy pondered a moment and then asked, “Grandfather, tell me which wolf will win?”The wise old man smiled and simply said, “The one you feed.”My friends, we live in a world where staying positive and in your game is an uphill swim. The negativity can take ANY one of us down negative road. When that happens, you can start to feed that negative wolf and down the spiral you go.I view this story as a reminder to be intentional - to feed your positive wolf. That's the wolf that drives your empowered qualities and ultimately your success, happiness, and enlightenment.Which wolf will you feed today?Follow your bliss. Experience your bliss.
