His new book, Coming to Our Senses: Healing Ourselves and the World Through Mindfulness, was published in January 2005. (from WebMD bio)

His work has contributed to a growing movement of mindfulness into mainstream institutions in our society such as medicine, health care and hospitals, schools, corporations, prisons, and professional sports.

I first became familiar with Jon Kabat-Zinn through his fantastic book Full Catastrophe Living. Back in the early 90’s, I went through a very challenging time. The book really helped me get back on course.

Later, I used to listen to the audio of his next book Wherever You Go, There You Are on my long weekend walks. The book is a fantastic introduction into the practice of mindfulness. It will also make you feel quite Zen.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments below about this quote.
