Do You Know What You Want in Life?

Today's Thought:

Never to try, is always to fail.

Henry Ford once commented, "If I'd asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." Humanity is a bit of a herd species. Many people go through life along with the herd - thinking what the herd thinks and doing what the herd does.

How many people are going through this life trying to be what their parents want them to be or what society said they should be? When we think like this, collectively or in our individual lives, we wind up with faster horses rather than a game-changing innovation like the automobile.

Give it try! Look beyond the horizon of current thinking. See in the realm of what seems now impossible. There are treasures there waiting for someone to see far enough and clearly enough.

I'll give you this one warning, though, KNOW THYSELF Practically every great teacher has given us the thought in some form or another. You see, one can't see over the horizon until one has looked within. Great innovators and sages, always have a sense of who they are before they go our and change the world.

You need not spend your whole life figuring it out. Shut off the noise and the devices once in a while and listen. Weed out the conditioned programs that have been placed in your mind by others. Look thoughtfully and clear-eyed at the essence of who you are. Then you are ready to go conquer the world.

Are you just here to build faster horses or are you hear to reach for the stars?

Follow your bliss. Experience your bliss. Become your bliss.
