Runner's World: Here’s More Proof That Positive Thinking Really Does Make Running Easier
Runner’s World has published a new article reporting on a study that shows again how important positive thinking is for achievement - in running and elsewhere in life. This new research from journal Nature Human Behaviour tested the physical impact of a suggested limitation on people who had already been benchmarked without that knowledge.
The results were stark. The suggestion that someone may have a physical limitation caused them to perform down to that limitation. The suggestion that someone had a gene that predisposed them for performance immediately showed improvement over previous performance.
